Emirates Islamic marks Emirati Women’s Day

Emirates Islamic, one of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the UAE, today marked the third annual Emirati Women’s day with an exclusive event at Raffles Dubai.
Under the theme ‘Women are partners in giving’, the bank saluted the endless efforts and achievements of its female Emirati staff and their outstanding contribution to the nation’s development. Acclaimed Emirati businesswoman, Omaira Farooq Al Olama, Founder at ALF administration, was the guest speaker at the event, discussing her experience and journey as an entrepreneur.
Hessa Al Mulla, Senior Vice President – Head of Human Resources at Emirates Islamic said “On this glorious occasion, and on behalf of the senior management of Emirates Islamic, I extend our deepest thanks and appreciation to all Emirati female employees in Emirates Islamic for their persistent efforts towards the organization. This day is also a national celebration to recognise the efforts taken by HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairwoman of Family Development Foundation and President of Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, to achieve gender equality and women’s empowerment in the UAE and around the world.”
Today, Emirati women account for 61% of the total UAE National workforce at Emirates Islamic, playing an integral role in the bank’s success.
