Key Fact Statement (KFS) – TravelWise Prepaid Card

Prepaid Card allows you to load funds and use it for purchases. This KFS provides you with key features and indicative information and the profit, fees and charges for this product.

All charges are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) in AED currency.

Description Emirates Islamic Prepaid Card can be loaded with funds and used for cash withdrawal, online and in-store purchases.
Eligibility Individual who are UAE citizens / residents (other entities are not eligible)
Card currency United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED)
1 card per customer
Multi-channel upload/recharge options- online banking and ATMS/CDMS.
Secure usage with CHIP& PIN protection for retail purchases and unique password protection with Double Secure1 for online transactions.
Expenses tracking through SMS alerts for all transactions.

Balance Inquiry at ATMs in Gulf Co-operation Countries (GCC Network) AED 3.15 (Inclusive of 5% VAT)
Cash Withdrawal on Emirates Islamic & ENBD ATMs No Fee
Cash Withdrawal (other bank ATMs in UAE) AED 2.10 (Inclusive of 5% VAT)
Cash Withdrawal (International) AED 10.50 (Inclusive of 5% VAT)
Foreign Currency Transaction Fee in non-UAE Dirhams No Fee [Standard processing fee charged by Mastercard or VISA will be applicable — approximately 1.15%]
Foreign Currency Transaction Fee in UAE Dirhams No Fee [Standard processing fee charged by Mastercard or VISA (approximately 1.15%) and a mark-up fee charged by acquirer (if any) will be applicable]
Balance Unload Fee AED 15.75 (Inclusive of 5% VAT)
Monthly Inactivity Fee (charged after 6 consecutive months of inactivity) AED 15.75 per month (Inclusive of 5% VAT)
Card Closure Fee AED 15.75 (Inclusive of 5% VAT)

Additional Information
Bank may from time to time, and at its sole discretion, change or amend any of the Terms and Conditions pertaining to this product. Such changes will be communicated to you with a 60-day prior notice.
Please always keep your PIN Safe to avoid any misuse or fraudulent actions by others.
In the event of stolen or lost Prepaid Card, the Customer shall immediately notify the Bank to block his/her Prepaid Card access. However, emergency line on the IVR for blocked Cards is still accessible. The Bank reserves the right to ask for written confirmation. The Customer understands and agrees that the Bank will not be liable for any misuse by another person in such an event and for failure of the Customer to inform the Bank to block Prepaid Card access.
Warning
The Bank may block Prepaid cards and close your account if conduct is found to unsatisfactory against the Bank’s Compliance policy / Shariah compliance and/or Central Bank of the UAE regulations.
The Bank may apply any credit balance which is held in the Customer’s name in any Account and/or at any branch ofthe Bank towards the payment of any indebtedness or amounts due.
In the event of failure to meet our terms and conditions before and during your relationship with us, there will be consequences which may include restriction, blockage, or closure of your prepaid card facility
You are entitled to cancel the Prepaid Card within five (5) business days of signing this document (“Cooling-off Period”) and the Bank cannot process the requested Prepaid Card until this period expires and you may need to resubmit this document. You should take time to consider the Prepaid Card but you do have the right to waive the cooling-off Period by ticking the box below. I agree to waive my right to a “cooling off” period of 5 business days, so that my Prepaid Card can be immediately processed and understand that by waiving the cooling-off period the terms and conditions of the Prepaid Card will be immediately binding on me/us.
