Manage your Emirates Islamic Credit Card limits

Track and manage your primary and supplementary credit card limits

Manage your Credit Card Limits

Your credit card limit is assigned by the Bank after taking several factors into consideration including the type of credit card, your income, the company you work for, your financial history and debt burden ratio.

Understanding your Limits

Your Credit Card Limit is the maximum amount you can spend using your credit card. The amount you spend and need to repay at least in part, before your payment due date, is referred to as your Outstanding Balance or Utilised Limit and the remainder is your Available Credit Limit.

If you hold one or more supplementary credit cards, these cards will utilise a percentage of your primary credit card’s total limit. For example, if your credit card has a total limit of AED 10,000 and you assign your supplementary credit card 10% of your limit, the supplementary cardholder can spend only AED 1,000 using their card.
