Terms and Conditions

  1. This promotion is valid only for points transfers from El SmartMiles to Marriott Bonvoy® from 00:00am GST on 20 May, 2025 to 23:59pm GST on 20 June, 2025.
  2. During the promotion period, members transferring El SmartMiles to Marriott Bonvoy points will receive an additional 50% bonus Marriott Bonvoy points.
  3. A minimum of 10,000 EI SmartMiles is required to transfer to Marriott Bonvoy points.
  4. You must be enrolled in Marriott Bonvoy in order to participate in this promotion. If you are not already a member click here to enroll.
  5. The bonus points and the original transferred points may be reflected in the account statement in two different transactions.
  6. Bonus points will be awarded at the time of transfer together with the original transferred points, according to the standard transfer lead times.
  7. Once the transfer request is initiated, it cannot be reversed.
  8. This offer is subject to the Terms & Conditions of El SmartMiles rewards program.
  9. Marriott Bonvoy bonus points do not count towards elite tier qualification.
  10. Once you have transferred points to Marriott Bonvoy, they become subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Marriott Bonvoy program and cannot be transferred back to your El Rewards account. See Marriott Bonvoy Terms and Conditions for details here.
  11. These Terms and Conditions are subject to the interpretation of Marriott International Inc. and Emirates Islamic Bank PJSC, which shall be final and conclusive. In case of dispute, Marriott International Inc. and Emirates Islamic Bank PJSC reserve the right to make the final decision as permitted under applicable laws.
  12. To the extent permitted by law, Marriott International Inc. and Emirates Islamic Bank PJSC reserve the right to make changes, corrections, cancellations and/or improvements to these terms and conditions.
  13. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English version and any translated version of these Terms and Conditions, the English language version shall prevail.
