Google Pay safeguards your payment information with multiple layers of security, supported by one of the world’s most advanced security infrastructures.
Google Pay uses robust, always-on security measures that continuously help safeguard your account and personal information from potential threats. When you pay in stores, a virtual account number is shared with the merchant instead of your actual card details, helping keep your card secure.
Each time you make a purchase with Google Pay, you receive a notification showing the merchant name and transaction amount, so you can easily keep track of your spending.
If your device is lost, you can use Android Device Manager to instantly lock it from anywhere, set a new password, or erase your personal data to protect your information.
Make quick, contactless payments in stores and enjoy faster checkouts in apps and on the web with Google Pay.
Use Google Pay wherever contactless payments are accepted by simply unlocking your phone and holding it near the payment terminal, without even opening the app.
Speed up your online checkout by paying with Google Pay; once your card is added, just confirm your purchase without re-entering your payment details.
Use Google Pay wherever contactless payments are accepted, including supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, retail outlets and many other locations, as well as within popular apps on Google Play.
Watch out for one of these symbols at checkout.
If your phone gets lost or stolen, you can lock and erase the phone from anywhere with ‘Find My Device’.
Also, please inform the bank immediately so that you can get quick assistance in blocking and deleting the cards/token set up on your device/Google Pay.
