Upgrade/login to EI + Mobile Banking App and follow three simple steps:
Step 1:
Go to the preferences section in your profile and settings menu.
Step 2:
Subscribe to the Aani enrollment option and setup your Aani account.

Step 3:
Select the mobile number transfer option and send money to any contact in your phonebook.

Domestic transfers only
Aani enables domestic transfers exclusively between accounts held at licensed financial institutions or payment service providers in the UAE in Emirati dirham (AED).
Authorization
Developed using the latest technology and security tools, Aani ensures that payments are executed securely with authorization to be executed through biometrics authentication or PIN.

Services available
A unique payments platform, Aani enables you to send or receive money using mobile numbers, without the need to exchange bank account numbers or IBANs. The per transaction limit for transfers is AED 2,000.

To use Aani services, Emirates Islamic customers will be required to enroll for Aani service by following the below steps:
At any point of time only one account can serve as the transactional account for Aani, which will be referred to as default account.
The per transaction, per account, per day limit is currently set up to AED 5,000 for mobile transfers and AED 50,000 for IBAN transfers. Any changes to the limit will be communicated accordingly.
At present, Aani payments are limited to domestic transfers only, allowing customers to send and receive money only between accounts held at licensed financial institutions or licensed payment service providers in the UAE, in AED.
The amount will be reversed back to the customer account within 24 hours in case of rejection or failure. If not, you can reach out to Customer care on 600 599 995.
Aani transfers cannot be cancelled or amended once processed since these are STP (straight-through-process) transactions which are sent instantly to the beneficiary bank.
No, beneficiary addition is not required to initiate Aani transfers. The contacts who have been enrolled by the banks on the Aani platform will be available from phonebook to initiate Aani transfers.
All Emirates Islamic customers will be able to avail Aani service free of cost.
If customers believe that their account has been hacked, or a payment has been initiated without authorization, they shall immediately report the event to the bank on our customer care number 600 599 995.
